Hi there, how are you? I am Father Joshua Janko. This is my website fatherjoshua.com. I hope you enjoy your visit. I try to keep things updated and relevant. If you have any suggestions for making this thing better, please email me.
A little bit about me... I was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 14, 1975. I have lived in many states including New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, Ohio and Indiana. Indiana has been my home for most of my life. I previously worked part time as a Catholic Chaplain in the Indiana Air National Guard at the 122nd Fighter Wing (2012-2016). Now, I am living in Japan as I serve in the United States Air Force. What an adventure!
I am a Roman Catholic Priest of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. I was ordained on June 3, 2006 by Bishop William L. Higi. Evidently, Bishop Higi was the bishop who confirmed me on May 14, 1991. In the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, I have served at St. Maria Goretti in Westfield, St. Alphonsus Liguori in Zionsville, St. Theodore Guerin High School in Noblesville while living and helping out on the weekends at Our Lady of Grace in Noblesville, and St. Louis de Montfort in Fishers. I love being a priest. I love the Catholic Faith. I am so grateful to now be serving the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Community here at Yokota AB in Japan as of October of 2016. I am thankful to my home diocesan bishop Bishop Timothy L. Doherty who gave me his permission to serve in the Air Force. I am also thankful to be helping the Archdiocese for the Military Services and Archbishop Timothy Broglio.
If you want to learn more about the faith, please don’t hesitate to email me at [email protected].
